APROBACIÓN

Inglés es EXTRACURRICULAR, es decir, NO integra, como Asignatura, el Plan de Estudios de NINGUNA de las carreras que se dictan en la Facultad de Ingeniería Química.

Pero SI constituye un “Requisito” demostrar conocimientos del idioma Inglés  a nivel "Pre-intermediate" en todas las carreras. Para ello, deberá aprobar un EXAMEN DE ACREDITACIÓN.

ACLARACIONES IMPORTANTES

- PARA RENDIR LOS PARCIALES DE NIVEL II COMO ALUMNOS LIBRES NO ES REQUISITO HABER APROBADO NIVEL I.

- LA APROBACIÓN DE NIVEL II ES EQUIVALENTE A LA APROBACIÓN DEL EXAMEN DE ACREDITACIÓN

- QUIENES APRUEBEN NIVEL II POR PARCIALES DEBERÁN INSCRIBIRSE EN UN TURNO DE EXAMEN DE CALENDARIO, EN DEPARTAMENTO ALUMNADO (SISTEMA GUARANÍ), EN LA FORMA Y FECHAS QUE DICHO DEPARTAMENTO DISPONGA, PARA QUE DICHA ACREDITACIÓN CONSTE EN ACTAS.

- PARA ACREDITAR INGLES POR EXAMEN DE ACREDITACIÓN NO ES REQUISITO HABER CURSADO NI APROBADO POR PARCIALES NINGUNO DE LOS DOS NIVELES DE INGLÉS.

SISTEMA DE PROMOCIÓN POR PARCIALES

INGLÉS I

3 PARCIALES AL AÑO
Desde 2011: sólo para alumnos regulares

1er. Parcial: Escrito

2do. Parcial: Escrito-Oral

3er. Parcial: Escrito-Oral

Los parciales escritos se promedian mediante un sistema de ponderación que asigna factores diferentes a cada parcial (f1 =1, f2 =2 y f3 =3 respectivamente, fn = 1+2+3 =6 y se calcula mediante la siguiente fórmula:

Pf =( f1P1 + f2P2 + f3P3) / fn

P1, P2 y P3 son las calificaciones obtenidas en cada parcial

A) El examen oral del segundo parcial NO es eliminatorio

B) Para acceder al examen oral del tercer parcial, es necesario obtener un P3 > 50 y Pf > 60

C) El examen oral del tercer parcial SI es eliminatorio

D) En caso de no alcanzar lo establecido en B) o NO aprobar el examen oral del tercer parcial, se deberá rendir el Examen Final (Evaluación de Competencia)

INGLÉS II
PARA ALUMNOS REGULARES Y LIBRES

3 PARCIALES AL AÑO, todos con instancia Escrita y Oral obligatorias.

Los parciales escritos se promedian mediante un sistema de ponderación que asigna factores diferentes a cada parcial (f1 =1, f2 =2 y f3 =3 respectivamente), fn = 1+2+3=6 y se calcula mediante la siguiente fórmula:

A) Los exámenes orales del primer y segundo parcial NO son eliminatorios

B) Para acceder al examen oral del tercer parcial, es necesario obtener un P3 > 50 y Pf > 60

C) El examen oral del tercer parcial SI es eliminatorio

D) En caso de no alcanzar lo establecido en B) o NO aprobar el examen oral del tercer parcial, se deberá rendir el Examen Final (Examen de Acreditación)

Puede utilizarse cualquier texto de nivel ELEMENTARY para Inglés I y de nivel PRE-INTERMEDIATE para Inglés II. En la actualidad estamos utilizando para los cursos de apoyo, los textos TOTAL ENGLISH de Fiona Gallagher, Editoral Longman. El ELEMENTARY (Student´s y workbook) para Inglés I y el PREINTERMEDIATE (student´s y workbook) para Inglés II.
